Officially named starter Wisconsin's offensive coordinator Phil Longo named Van Dyke the starting quarterback for the Badgers, Rohan Chakravarthi of Bucky's 5th Quarter reports.
Impact This decision doesn't as too much of a surprise considering Van Dyke took all of Wisconsin's first-team reps in this past Sunday's scrimmage. The 6-foot-4 senior finished out the 2023 season with 2,703 passing yards with 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, now starting under center for a Badger team who have had instability at the quarterback position in the recent years.
