Impact Brereton Diaz is heading back to the Premier League following his loan spell with Sheffield United last season, with the attacker now set to join Southampton on a four-year contract. He is coming off a slightly strange season, as he only saw two starts in 14 appearances with Villarreal before his loan spell saw him start in all 14 games with Sheffield United. In those 14 starts, he notched six goals on 35 shots and one asisst on eight chances created. That said, he is likely to see solid time with the Saints, probably fighting for a starting spot to begin the campaign.
