Makes return from IL The Dodgers reinstated Betts (hand) from the 10-day injured list Monday. Impact Los Angeles designated utility man Amed Rosario for assignment to clear room on the active roster for Betts, who will return to the lineup Monday in Milwaukee for his first start since June 16. Despite being sidelined for nearly two months, Betts wasn't required to go out on a minor-league rehab assignment before being activated, as the Dodgers instead had him ramp up through live at-bats during batting practice this past week. Betts has made all 72 of his starts this season at either shortstop or second base, but he's set to take on a full-time role in right field now that he's made a full recovery from a fractured left wrist. Jason Heyward is expected to lose out on a regular spot in the lineup versus right-handed pitching as a result of Betts' return.
