Granted additional eligibility Bowman's request for an NCAA waiver for the 2024 season has been approved, Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing reports.

Impact Bowman will suit up for his seventh-and-final season of collegiate eligibility in 2024 after a volatile year with Oklahoma State in 2023. The 6-foot-4 graduate student threw for 3,460 yards, 15 touchdowns and 14 interceptions across 14 outings with the Cowboys this season, leading them to a bowl game win over Texas A&M. Bowman would presumably keep his starting spot under center next season barring any incoming transfer moves.

321 yards in wild win against BYU Bowman completed 31 of 47 passes for 321 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 40-34 overtime win versus Brigham Young.

Impact Bowman passed for over 300 yards in consecutive games, however, had no touchdowns as running back Ollie Gordon had all five scores for the Cowboys. With the win, Oklahoma State earned a spot in the Big 12 Championship game and will play Texas. Bowman will attempt to play spoiler to the Longhorns before playing in a bowl game.

Impact Bowman bounced back from a disastrous performance at UCF in Week 11 with his third 300-yard passing game of the season. The 348 passing yards were a season-high and Bowman now has 12 total touchdowns versus nine interceptions on the year. Oklahoma State is still alive for the Big 12 Championship game and have a fantasy friendly matchup with BYU in their regular season finale.

Impact Bowman has racked up a pair of touchdown passes in three straight games as Oklahoma State is on a roll in the conference. Ollie Gordon had over 200 yards rushing yet again which is setting up an excellent opportunity for Bowman to succeed through the air. It will be interesting to see if Bowman has to do more when the team plays Oklahoma in Bedlam next week.

Impact Bowman has two touchdown passes in three of his last four games. As defenses start to focus on the star running back, it could open up opportunities for Bowman through the air. The Cowboys' offense has an excellent match-up upcoming against Cincinnati.

Impact Bowman was a reserve at Michigan the past two seasons, and will now look for a chance at a starting role with the Cowboys.
